The takeaway is being a head HS coach offers leadership opportunities — e.g., developing strategy/culture, earning the trust of players and their families, and making tough decisions about playing time, discipline, etc. — that are transferable to higher levels of competition.

After a solid weekend of shot clock training in Coffeyville, back at it tonight at Maize South. Thank you to Keith Kinley, with the AVCTL and Joe Jackson at Maize South for the opportunity to talk to officials and have school operators train.

Solid day of hoops yesterday in KC. The NCAA Scholastic Event, boys Midwest Showcase at HomeField. Followed by the ShotClockShowdown at Mill Valley HS. Great to see Jamie Stevens & Benti Panoam of North Dakota Men's Basketball out on the road! T-2nd place finish in The Summit League last season.
