Lisfranc injury. Easy assessment by ultrasound. Identify 1/2 MT in short axis and scan proximally until you fall off the shorter 1 MT and onto medial cuneiform. This is the location of the dorsal Lisfranc ligament. Assess for integrity of ligament and widening of joint space.
