Last year we signed a tripartite agreement with the Province of BC and Interfor to create the new M̓ac̓inuxʷ Special Forest Management Area. This has doubled the current level of protection in #KwiakahNation territory while creating #stewardshipjobs! 👏 bit.ly/healingtheland

Our new Research Center of Excellence is a floating research facility with accommodations and amenities to support up to 16 scientists and stewardship staff working in our remote region. We are creating new job opportunities in #foreststewardship 🌲🙌 bit.ly/healingtheland

With the Centre for Excellence, we are exploring opportunities in kelp and seaweed cultivation for processing & #carbonsequestration. Since acquiring the former fish farm site we have repurposed the docks and cage system into a one-hectare kelp test farm! bit.ly/healingtheland
