This morning at #WE_Heraeus_Seminar 809 "Functional Materials at Surfaces" at Bad Honnef Physikzentrum. (My first ever invited talk!) Thank you Stefania Moro, Katharina Kaiser, and Luis Parra Lopez for the invitation and organization.
Dear SPM community, we have an open position for a PhD thesis at the University of Basel NanolinoBasel Ernst Meyer. We will look at charge and spin states of molecules on surfaces using low temperature STM/AFM. Swiss Nanoscience Institute (SNI) Schweizerischer Nationalfonds (SNF) Please spread the word!
Just published in Physical Review B, our paper about the interaction between 1T and 1H NbSe2 monolayers. Nice collaboration with our Conicet friends: Paula Abufager roman pico Ignacio Hamad journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/1… CFM CSIC Divulga UPV/EHU Quantum Phenomena on Surfaces
Our latest work in Nano Letters about a porous graphene nanoribbon and how pores influence the electronic structure. The non-porous regions determine the electronic properties! Great collaboration with Qitang Fan, Jose Martinez Castro and others. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
Enjoying the #cmd31 conference in Braga, Portugal! Excited to share our latest results from Atomholics Lab (Philip Willke) lab!
Come and join this morning Wantongs and Kwan Ho Au Yeung talks on Molecular quantum building blocks at #CMD31_Braga, #cmd31 General Conference of the Condensed Matter Division Condensed Matter Division EPS, European Physical Society (EPS) in #Braga FREE CANDY!
Next 2 talks by Wantog Huang and Kwan Ho Au-Yeung , both working with Atomholics Lab (Philip Willke) ,telling us about cool experiments with ESR-StM and STM on new molecular system
Very nice talk J Fernández Rossier on "Flat bands, entanglement and fractionalization in bottom-up quantum matter"! #cmd31
happy mid autumn festival! We had to divide the cake for all the group members... Kwan Ho Au Yeung Paul Greule
