we can't talk about freedom or god blessing any kind of america or independence or star-spangled anything without talking about the fact that we the people in our country don't have lawful control over our own bodies.

For immediate release: The Good Trouble Coalition strongly condemns the Indiana Supreme Court's decision regarding abortion. Here is our full statement (link in alt-text).

The same court that abolished affirmative action yesterday because it pretends to believe affirmative action allows unconstitutional discrimination based on race is perfectly fine with discrimination based on sexuality.

It is critical to note that today's decision does not go into effect for 30 days. Abortion is still legal in Indiana.

Today the Indiana Supreme Court re-instated the #abortion ban.

It doesn’t mean that Hoosiers don’t need or deserve abortion care. It means it will be more dangerous, more difficult, and more oppressive.
