What I'm working on now is a sculpture which parts align at certain intervals, revealing its form. I'm trying to model this so the parts can be 3D printed into a working kinetic sculpture.

I'm trying out different shapes to see whats a good fit for this technique... I've made a geometric shape with coarse grooves that line up, to see if this works better than recognisable shapes like the head I did earlier. I'm still on the fence on this one:

Another day, another render - this time just a smooth cube. look cool but feels like cheating.

Look everyone its your favorite revolutionary - Che Guevara! The mickey mouse among the revolutionaries. I think he works quite well in this cogwheel-statue format, I feel like he could do with some additional detailing in his beard and hair, so that the surface feels sculpted.

I just received my physical copy of "Battering Glass", one of Damien Hirst's Currency works that lived in NFT limbo for over a year. I opted to burn the NFT and receive the artwork - even though the NFT was well executed, its no match for the real thing. It smells like paint!
