Kiwanis Club of Georgetown’s Lobsterfest has been held for over 20 years 🦞 Friday’s fest was a celebration - fresh Nova Scotia lobsters & great friends gathered to raise funds for local charities. Amazing to see our local service clubs and supporters in action - thank you.

Yesterday I shared in the House of Commons the story of the Glen Williams PS students & their vision for the future of Canada. I’m so impressed by the wisdom & perspective of these students who remind us to lead with purpose, respect & integrity.

Pleasure to connect with municipal partners and former colleagues in Ottawa for FCM Our PM reiterated our commitment to build housing, infrastructure, & strong municipal-federal partnerships. I’m committed to making our municipal-federal relationship a meaningful one.

Today I proudly signed the Parliamentary Civility Pledge to promote civility in the workplaces of government. I made civility in politics a focus of my successful campaign, and I’m dedicated to continue it in my work as Member of Parliament for Milton East — Halton Hills South

Our nation lost a great Canadian this week. The Hon Marc Garneau lived a remarkable life of service. As the 1st Cdn in space he inspired us to look to the stars. As MP & Minister he inspired us to be better. I send heartfelt condolences to his loved ones at this sad time

Today Canada joined allies Australia, Norway, New Zealand, & the United Kingdom in imposing sanctions on Israeli ministers Ben-Gvir & Smotrich The government of Israel must - at a minimum - uphold its obligations under international law. Canada & its allies will accept no less.

Today I joined the Prime Minister & colleagues on Parliament Hill to raise the Pride Flag & to stand in solidarity with the 2SLGBTQI+ community Today and beyond we celebrate both progress & the ongoing work to foster a Canada where everyone can live authentically - Happy Pride!

The tragic news from Ahmedabad today is truly heartbreaking.  My thoughts are with all 242 people aboard Air India flight AI171, those injured on the ground, and their loved ones at this very sad time.

Home for the weekend and our 1st stop on this glorious sunny Saturday was the bustling Georgetown Farmer’s Market. We are fortunate to have so many fantastic food producers & local artisans right here on our doorstep every Saturday - making it easier than ever to support local.

A spectacular afternoon at the 50th annual Georgetown Highland Games. You never know what you’ll see - the Baird Clan booth featured a replica of the first ever television! Great to see Halton Hills Mayor Ann Lawlor and MPP Joseph Racinsky enjoying the festivities.

Happy Father’s Day! Today we celebrate the fathers & father figures in our communities who lead by example & with care. Like my Dad who has taught me much about hard work & family. And my husband who I’m so proud to partner as parents to our 4 children.
