So I tried to knit a swatch only to learn that I was doing it incorrectly. I learned that knitting flat is not Stockinette. It looks like this. Did I forget what it is called? Yes. But it looks okay!

Adventures in yarn dyeing! Look at this soup. It's done in lavender and wild rose. Oh boy does the vinegar smell strong. I'm going to try citric acid next time. Wish me luck!

Practicing my swatch techniques. I was pretty close to the measurement it should be. It was supposed to be a 3in x 5in and I finished at 3in x 4.75in. The bag I'm making will be a smidge smaller than the pattern says it will be, but that's okay with me! It's not too drastic.

Started my first hexicardigan. It's as easy as I thought. Although we need to figure out measurements. How long do I want sleeves? Is the body the right size? Should it be longer? We'll see.
