My 8yo learns #music and getting her to #Practice was HARD. Then, her teacher asked her to record her practice and send. #Accountability #FTW and self-feedback + #Awareness -- even if the teacher only gives a thumbs up as #Feedback . Wish I'd thought of this trick earlier!

Every time I hear the obsession with #edtech #efficacy, a part of me wilts. I see no point in measuring static efficacy (expensive) when many lack the structure and strategy to monitor their impact in an ongoing manner and pivot as needed 🥲Allocate resources smartly please!

I've hit that age where a late night knocks my productivity the next day. Ah well, it was fun when it lasted.

I wish we were trained more on participant recruitment in research methods. Small or big, every researcher outside of academia (and within) seems to hit a wall/delay when it comes to recruitment.
