The CSIRO's latest Wheatcast is predicting a national average wheat harvest yield of 2.21 tonnes per hectare – a slight improvement on June and above the long-term average of 1.82t/ha. CSIRO has the current median Plant Available soil Water (PAW) at 107mm, with a range of
