Friday marks five years since the passing of former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan. I was honoured to call Kofi Annan a mentor and proud to call him a friend. His legacy as a global champion for peace remains an inspiration in our lives and our work.

Yesterday, our paper on the Steller's Sea Eagle's journey in North America and the economic impact it had was published in People and Nature. This was the most fun I have had on a project, and full credit to this goes to coauthors: Neil Gilbert, William Casola, PhD, and Kofi Akamani

I’m so honored to be speaking at this event - put on in memory of Saleem and the incredible influence he had shaping adaptation and loss and damage in the UN Climate Change . Make sure you register to join us on Monday! brown.zoom.us/meeting/regist…
