There is famine in Sudan. And it’s entirely man-made. In Darfur, the SAF are blocking aid, while the RSF’s ongoing assault is creating conditions for famine to spread. The warring parties must stop fighting, agree steps to a ceasefire and allow full humanitarian access now.

Last week 🇬🇧 embassy team visited education, health and GBV services in Malakal. We spoke with service users, partners, and government about challenges across these sectors. The needs are immense, amplified by high numbers of arrivals from Sudan and the onset of rainy season.
