Huge thanks to Odette Steele for leading a fascinating workshop on Indigo + Chintz to coincide w/ The Singh Twins exhibition Norwich Castle Art today. Odette shared fabrics from around the world + we read from Christina Sharpe’s The Wake (2016) on legacies of transatlantic slave trade.

Cromer is always a lively place during the summer. Here's a photo showing an equally busy scene in 1895 as crowds gather around the Hotel de Paris for its re-opening. The amount of people filling up the promenade show that #Cromer was a very popular holiday resort in those days.
