Excited our work is out! Big question: medical management or early TEVAR for acute type B aortic dissection? The only way forward is evidence - let’s recruit to the IMPROVE-AD trial! Firas F Mussa
Vascular surgery has lost a true giant. I am forever grateful to Dr Greg Sicard whose mentorship, guidance, and support shaped my career and my life in ways I’ll always carry with me. May his soul rest in peace. WashU Medicine Division of Vascular Surgery
Sad to hear about Dr. Sicards passing. Join me in relistening to his interview on AudibleBleeding . He discusses endograft failure and training the next generation for open aortic surgery. A true giant in our field. Rest in Peace. audiblebleeding.com/2021/10/10/dr-…

While it is still in beta version, BehindTheKnife Oral Board Simulator is impressive. I did two random scenarios on my drive home today. One was MVC with kidney lac (woo hoo!) and the other was a lateral neck mass (whomp whomp). I had a different virtual examiner for each case
Wow what a life and legacy. Wish we would have interviewed him on BehindTheKnife . If you know other inspiring individuals we should talk to let me know.
