I really love coding. My dream is to be able to get funding to teach my own bioinformatics and coding courses to underrepresented students who don't get introduced to this work earlier or have representation. This is so fun and it does not need to be seen as intimidating.

While I watch this NIH funding battle, I'm running through the data of my college's UG research program supported by the NIH-INBRE program: 60% of our INBRE-funded students from our small liberal arts college in rural SC are now pursuing a post-graduate degree in research.
