In Carson Class we have been learning all about China. Today we were looking at how the culture is different and we learnt that they use chopsticks instead of a knife and fork, so we had to have a go!

In Science, Shackleton Class have been investigating the sense of touch. The children had to describe and identify a range of objects by using their hands and feet only.

Wright Brothers - Today we have been learning how to interpret historical evidence. We looked at different monuments of Queen Victoria & a painting she made of Balmoral Castle. We thought about what it showed us about her life. We presented our findings to the class. Well done!

Goodall Class have enjoyed learning about the number three this week.

Today, Year 4 joined a live chat with Premier League Footballer Reece James! He spoke to hundreds of schools about mental health and resilience. It was really interesting to hear how he deals with set-backs and stays mentally strong.

Wright Brothers Class were excited to make their healthy pizza. We designed them, thinking about the different food groups and then made the dough this morning. Once the dough had risen, we grated our cheese and chopped our vegetables and fruit. They looked delicious! Well done!

In Year 6, we've been exploring various types of bridges. Today, we focused on how suspension bridges function, and the students teamed up in pairs to construct their own models.

Goodall Class loved learning about the artist Antony Gormley. They enjoyed making their own sculptures using a range of materials.

Goodall Class love reading and sharing books!

Today Wright Brothers Class have had a great time learning how to program a robot. We designed our own mazes and programmed the bee bot to reach the end without crashing. We showed great teamwork, well done everyone!
