Where was the 'wizard' Merlin buried? Apparently here where the Powsail burn meets the Tweed. In 584 he was wandering the woods of Drumelzier, a restless mystic. He was converted by St Mungo near Stobo Kirk but died the same day, fulfilling his own prophecy.
