An awesome afternoon of Years 8/9 Sport Grand Finals magic today with Kingswood College winning 4 of 5 grand finals! Boys football, girls soccer, boys table tennis and girls table tennis teams all premiers and our boys volleyball B team finishing runners up. Way to go KWC!

Palya (hello). Maku-ku (witchetty grub) hunting was hard work. Digging at the roots of the Acacia ‘Mulga’ tree to find a hollow root was a game of skill and luck! Many students tasted them raw or cooked in the Waru (fire) ashes.

Today was reconciliation in action. It was sleeves up and time to give back. The crew relocated a garden shed, weeded, dug trenches, made concrete, painted furniture and left a piece of us behind for John, Lorraine and Paul to remember us by.

On Friday 8 September our Junior School made mooncakes to celebrate the mid-autumn festival. Also known as the moon festival, it is a significant occasion for expressing gratitude for the harvest season and is celebrated in many countries across Asia. #happymoonfestival #belong

During the school holidays Year 8 student Eliza played for her Victorian Representative team ICE in the U15 National Lacrosse Tournament. The team narrowly missed a place in the grand final, finishing third. Congratulations Eliza! #belong #bettertogether
