seeing 0 last night it dawned on me this was 10 years ago, June 2013. this man has inspired and touched a whole generation of musicians, and this video is one of the things that helped them find him.

doesn’t surprise me. 10 years ago i posted this performance of “suede,” stones throw made me take it down. then a couple months later they started their own performance show. “suede” was their first episode.

"music lovers" complain about spending $15 a month for access to infinity songs. in the early 2000s I was illegally downloading everything I wanted to hear, and STILL spending like $40 bucks on new CDs every Tuesday.

“look at wrist” dropped in july, “Young Hot Ebony” dropped in september, and we dropped this video in November. 2014 was really peak american culture.
