A big thank you 🙏🏻 to everyone who joined me in yesterday’s London clay seed 🌱 pod workshop in the hut ReservoirDigs It was a truly, lovely, inspiring couple of hours making, and talking all things, growing, gardening and clay.

Anthropomorphic plants: Erbario 15th century illustrated Herbal from Northern Italy. Written in Veneto & Latin and in some cases a combination of both languages. The link between the human body & plants also fully embraces herbal medicine, the planets & elements = hybrid forms.

Last week was spent firing work made during the workshops ReservoirDigs The second batch is due out later today. So my attention turned to drawing. And I’m back in the hut tomorrow to begin making some larger London clay pods that will remain unfired. #stuartroadallotments

It’s amazing how resilient nature can be. This newly planted street tree was snapped in half several weeks ago and these images were captured earlier this week. It may have lost its entire top branches but there’s still much life bursting through its open wound. @stfllondon
