So thrilled to welcome these 63 extraordinary individuals to our UC San Francisco Medicine residency. Incredibly accomplished & passionate group, diverse in many ways (29 different med schools, 8 MD-PhDs, 32% identify as underrepresented-in-medicine). We’re so excited to have you join us!

How to diagnose PAH (WHO Group 1 PH)? #BackToBasics🫀 1️⃣ Via finding pre-capillary PH on right heart cath - mPAP > 20 mmHg - PVR > 2 WU - wedge < 15 mmHg 2️⃣ and ruling out other causes (PFTs, chest imaging, V/Q scan for CTEPH) PAH is rare and a dx of exclusion☝️
