This is cool. Writing maths directly in Slack messaging. Very easy to install and use. Thanks to the developers! github.com/thisiscam/math…

We are looking for a postdoc to work on statistical finite elements for 3D printed structures in a joint project with The Alan Turing Institute. For informal enquiries, please email or DM Fehmi Cirak. cezanneondemand.intervieweb.it/turing/jobs/re…

I used to flip through the hard copies of Develop3D magazine in the office. As we started working remotely more often, I am really glad that DEVELOP3D generously publish the digital edition: develop3d.com/magazines/. The smooth navigator makes reading easy.

If you are attending UKACM 2022, don't miss Arnaud Vadeboncoeur's talk on efficient Bayesian inference and Kim Jie's talk on scalable statistical finite elements.

Watching this reminds me of inference problems. The telescopes are kind of like sensors distributed across Earth surfaces, and there are uncertainties in the image that we infer. youtube.com/watch?v=Ol_SB5…

On Wednesday, I will be visiting the University of Lugano to give a seminar on "Basis constructions for isogeometric analysis on unstructured meshes". Will be discussing some of our recent work, including arxiv.org/abs/1904.03258, arxiv.org/abs/1910.04002, arxiv.org/abs/2111.04401.

Wished that I found this earlier! This is extremely useful for checking typos and formatting issues in LaTeX. Excellent work by the developers: github.com/sylvainhalle/t…

Our paper on smooth-blended B-splines is online! A curious journey of exploring smoothness, convergence, and quad and hex meshes with Fehmi Cirak and Deepesh Toshniwal.

Background such as the motivation, the why's, or even the author's research interest, help us understand a paper better. This is a useful website to help understand a paper. Check it out!

Beautiful. The Sierpiński triangle is a great example of subdivision. Perhaps subdivision is not only useful in geometric design (visual) but also in music (auditory).

When I first learned about this paper, I immediately thought that the idea of representing random fields on lattices (or any structures) is fascinating. Definitely check this out if you are interested!
