This fantastic series detailing the history and continuing magic of Thursday Nights in Feakle at Shortt’s Bar (formerly Lena’s). In 3 parts - a great listen especially for anyone interested in traditional music, community and East Clare podbean.com/wlei/pb-9nszn-…

On the last Sunday of every month service is held in St Cronán’s keeping up its tradition of being the oldest church in continuous use in Ireland.

Beautiful - Irish family history in action, St Patrick would surely have approved of the generosity of spirit encountered in this eventful and meaningful trip ‘home’. ☘️☘️

There’s a really lovely festival in Tuamgraney this weekend. St Cronán’s Church will be the venue for harp ensemble workshop on Sunday at 11am followed by a free recital at 1pm. There are lots of events with a gala concert in St Joseph’s Church tomorrow night at 8pm.

This gorgeous photograph of the Countess Cadogan, brought all the way from Vermont by James Buckley’s great grandson Brendan Buckley. Along with a collection of letters from Christopher (Noel) Buckley to his sister Kitty Browne SCR Limerick. Any ideas of location?

A really interesting talk tomorrow night in the gorgeous Kilfenora Cathedral St Fachnan’s, yes there is a cathedral in Kilfenora, which was once a diocese all of its own up until the 1700s. This church is so perfect, it still has its box pews, lots of carvings #medievalireland

What a busy Saturday at St Flannan’s, 1st we had a visit from the Vikings to hear all about our #Ogham/Runic stone. They had the added bonus of meeting Prof Howard Clarke aka the Viking Expert. Howard was here for Luke McInerney’s 2024 Clare Field trip #vikings #brianboru
