Big announcement to our 32 followers! We are currently working on a puddle rink. We hope to have it ready for next weekend. This will help take pressure off the main rink and provide more space for all. Reminder to Weybridge Rink it’s not the size of the rink that matters.

Beautiful morning flood on both the main rink and the puddle rink. We also have some more benches for your skating tying pleasure.

We are thrilled with the development of the puddle rink. It’s very skateable but a tad bumpy. Still working on the ice path to the puddle rink so be careful. The main rink is almost as flawless as Tiger Woods pre 2009.

Was nice to have Ottawa Myers Automotive AAA U18 tendy Darcy Murphy out with several U13 lads on the ODR the other night. Quite the finesse with goalie skates!

Dedicated volunteers scraping both main and puddle rink this evening so the ferocious freezing rain will not create too many bumps and we will have better edges since kids can’t lift snow over the boards yet ;)

Rink is closed until further notice. As soon as we get cold temps it will be ready to go. Right now it’s softer than a kitten eating Kleenex but soon it will be harder than a pitbull chewing on a bone.

We are aiming to do a few more floods today to get rink as smooth as 007. Waiting on the nets and benches to get dropped off from the city and we will be good to go. Enjoy the holidays and wear a helmet! Don’t put it on too tight.
