If you use engineering terminology at least get your terms straight
1⃣ Oscillators *are* .
2⃣The cause of resonance is the similarity in the and between resonating entities.
3⃣There is no (resonance) without of what to resonate with.

is a technology, a , and like all human-produced technological products it is an of some human capability, in this case, intelligence, or the capacity to solve complex problems.
Of course, it can also, with the same efficacy boost the ability to make them😉

I think the term ' ' is awful. However, the described behavior of how can develop an ' ' of the problem only after surpassing an inevitable 'learning block' seems like an interesting research topic.

There is a difference between 'causal ' and 'causal '.
Just because you have a large allowing you to replay exactly how things happened in the past, doesn't mean you have the proper 'computational ' for predicting how they turn out in the future.

Excellent (standing form🥰) interview with Philip Ball. Lots of sound points on many issues.
In particular, I totally agree with his stance on 'AI creativity'. Unfortunately, he lost me on the 'Maxwell's demon'. Living agents don't 'collect', they actually 'create' .

When Asked to Fix Something, We Don’t Even Think of Removing Parts.

That's because it happens 'naturally'. 😉

Whenever you take apart something, there are always 'extra' parts left behind when you put it back together.

Wishful thinking by two people who still need to learn how things are made.
To make an *exact* copy of a brain you would not only have to make an *exact* copy of the material substrate of the brain (every atom in every cell) but also put them in the *exact* state as the original.

Except that all is 'tacit' (internal and privately created by the knower), so, strictly speaking, there can be no 'transfer', this post on LessWrong makes some interesting points about the role of YouTube videos in knowledge creation. lesswrong.com/posts/RXLbe6oZ…

I wonder what the graphics for various non-linear approaches would look like in the same context of bending an 'old tree'.
And why are they called 'wicked' problems? They may be 'extremely unpleasant' but are not 'evil or morally wrong' and 'intended to harm someone or something'

Isn't this a simple truism?
Everything is what it is because we it is what it is. Tests are simply protocols by which we confirm and share our beliefs.
Contrary to religious beliefs, which are disseminated by mere fiat, scientific beliefs require some more convincing.😉
