Open House is underway at Bethlehem Elementary! Our students are excited to see old friends, meet their teacher, and have some fun in the bounce houses. We can’t wait to see the teaching and learning that takes place in our classrooms! 📚😁 #BESbobcats Jessica Walker SeTia Freeman

Day 1 at Bethlehem Elementary…✅ Routines and procedures were being practiced, teachers were building relationships, and a special visit from Joycelyn Jackson. It was a great day to be a #BESbobcat! 📚✏️🥰SeTia Freeman Jessica Walker

The outpouring of love and appreciation to Bethlehem Elementary TOTY, Ms. Gerald, was a sight to see! We are so proud that she represents our school. Continue to be a model teacher and leave lasting impacts on our students. 🎉🫶🏾🧑🏾🔬 #BESbobcats

I can’t think of a better way to start your Friday morning than walking into a surprise from your Bethlehem Elementary family. Deirdra Miller you are an amazing MHWF and we thank you for ALL that you do to ensure that everyone you encounter at Bethlehem Elementary feels loved, seen, and safe.

Our HEART teachers used ozobots to tell about their journey as first year teachers. Ivy Gerald shared different strategies on how our teachers can use these robots for instruction in their classrooms. So cool! 🤖😍

B-E-S…Bobcats! 🎉 It’s safe to say that our basketball players and cheerleaders are ready for tomorrow’s game at Stockbridge High School @ 8 a.m. Wake up early, drink a cup of coffee, and meet us there! 🏀🐾 Bethlehem Elementary

I 💚 that our collaborative planning has become a safe space for teachers to model, receive constructive feedback, and reflect about our practices. 📈#MoreLearning #MoreGrowing Bethlehem Elementary School

Student engagement was at an all time high during Ms. Ware’s ELA lesson. The opening to her lesson had her students instantly hooked and ready to learn more about the text structure, compare and contrast. 👍🏾😁 Bethlehem Elementary School #WinningForKids

I’m grateful for teachers who are willing to answer my call. Mrs. Early did a great job explaining the why of the CRA model as well as modeling partial products for her teammate. Thank you for being a team player! #WinningForKids Bethlehem Elementary School

When coteaching happens organically, you smile! Mr. Flint and Mrs. Ward did a fantastic job explaining how to subtract fractions using our HMH resources and manipulatives. #WinningForKids Bethlehem Elementary School

BES is grateful for Ms. Renee Owen, secondary math PLS, sharing her math expertise with our 5th grade team. She does an excellent job explaining and modeling the concepts for us. Mathematics HCS

Last week we had the opportunity to celebrate one teacher from each grade level whose class read the most minutes on Amira! Bethlehem Elementary Amira minutes are on the rise! 🎉📈

When the first teacher you coached as an Instructional Coach steps up at the math professional development…your heart melts! I feel like a proud mama. 🥰😁 Felecia Sirmans

Check out Ms. Ormsbee implementing what she learned at the district K-2 Math Manipulatives training. I love that she modeled some of the tasks and strategies during collaborative planning and the team immediately added them to the lesson plan. 💚 Mathematics HCS Bethlehem Elementary
