I am so jealous of today’s kids. They have STEM content in VR, play video games for skill-building, have mental health support, organized sports and an infinite library to learn whatever the hell they want to for free aka youtube. My education was so dumb compared to this.

I am a software engineer, currently working full time in a VR edtech company and creating skill-based SEL curriculum for a non-profit in India. Just goes to show that you’re the only one limiting yourself! Try new things and trust the process.

The urge to not use technology to scale things before validation is so difficult to combat as an engineer! There should be a word for it.

In every stage of building a company, the only ideology that never goes wrong is - what do my customers think? When in doubt, find your customers and take their opinion. Never goes wrong!

IMHO generative AI startups are dead even before they started. They have no moat and a lot of competition from already existing companies who were solving the problem before gen AI became a thing.

1 year later - moving back to India was totally worth it.

That human urge to believe that anyone who has a blue tick next to their name is smart.
