As an underrepresented scientist (economic, ethnic) that got her 1st paper after 2.5 years of postdoc, this initiative to reduce the period of fellowship is extremely exclusionary. During my fellowship I got more 22 papers after that; unprivileged people need TIME to grow, NIH.
