This is a huge number in eight months. Onboarding so many new folks while mid-stream in critical qual operations for a brand new vehicle is super challenging. Good luck team!

"Isolating and Lonely" you say? Could've learned that from a five minute reading of the Antarctica wikipedia page before you left my guy.

This is the first time I've been to the Queen Mary in Long Beach because I've always figured it's just a tourist trap (which it is). But they literally give you free reign to wander around the engine room with a cocktail in hand. Supremely underrated activity.

Defense tech startups in LA may be getting a lot of hype lately but the civil space machine is still going strong. Good profile here of Vast, AstroForge, and Varda Space Industries

At South Pole we had an event called the "Walk to Endor" where you had to walk on a treadmill through the entire first six Star Wars films. It was a bloodbath.

Exploration rewards the consistent, and being first rarely matters in the long run. New World colonization by Europeans is a common example, given how often power and territory changed hands, but I see Antarctica as a closer comparable to lunar exploration. Norway was the first

✅ Flight hull primary structure welding compete! Could not have been done without the concerted effort of our engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams 🦾

An especially cool feature of the Haven-1 primary structure flight build is that you didn't need to travel to Italy to see how it was progressing or talk with engineers, you just needed to walk next door 🇺🇸
