Earlier this week #CarlisleArchives welcomed volunteers from Keswick Museum working on the Our Community Voices project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund . They were learnt how to research property history ahead of doing their own research which will later be shared with their visitors

We were so glad to welcome Wordsworth Conferences attendees to the museum yesterday evening to see our Robert Southey collection, listen to a talk on Southey's Lake District and enjoy some drinks - a relaxing end to their two week conference! 🥂
