You won't find a finer calendar in the land. Huge thank you to all the children, and their teachers, for entering our Calendar Competition. The entries were a very high standard, and made possible by funding from Creative Ireland and Kerry County Council Arts.

A huge thank you to Féidhlim Harty, and all those that attended our workshop on Monday. Féidhlim's unique and energetic delivery was appreciated and well received at a sold out Killarney House. The Garden Room at the House was an ideal setting!

Our beautiful Lesser Horseshoe Bat sculpture has arrived in Killarney Library. Disclaimer: Lesser Horseshoe Bats are photophobic, which means they are very sensitive to light! Our sculpture is the exception. Kerry County Arts Creative Ireland Kerry Library - www.kerrylibrary.ie National Parks and Wildlife Service

Spotted this baddie developing along a treeline, Old Man's Beard or Traveller's Joy (Clematis vitalba). This species is similar to Ivy or Bindweed but is a non-native invasive species.

The spell of fine weather lends itself to big numbers of winged beasts. This fine Four Spotted Chaser fancied a lie down to absorb some heat. These guys are aggressively territorial and there were some impressive aerial duels by a little pond.

Our smallest planter installed to date, at Scoil Bhríde Primary School. This planter is awash with Yellow Flag Iris, Ragged Robin, Cuckoo Flowers, Water Mint, and Meadowsweet. This initiative has been made possible by support from Kerry County Council and the NPWS.
