Earlier today I met with Mr.Umar Kremlev, the President of the International Boxing Association in my office. I applaud him for offering to build a modern boxing complex in Uganda. I pledged the support of Parliament of Uganda towards the boxing fraternity.

Today I had a long discussion with Sudhir Byaruhanga of @NTV concerning the plight of Children affected by the Nodding disease syndrome in N. Uganda. Every Child deserves good health, happiness and to live up to their maximum potential...

But the children affected by the nodding disease cannot live their full potential. Their condition has continued to deteriorate and some have lost their lives. We must re-open the special care centre that caters for them. #NoddingDisease

I am putting together all efforts so that the special care centre is urgently re-opened and will communicate soon how best we can help our children. watch the full story on Sunday on NTV Uganda. #NoddingDisease
