The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a plane crashed into the Platte River near Fremont. I’m headed there now and will post updates as we learn more. Channel 8 KLKN-TV

Sgt. Brie Frank with Dodge Co. says multiple agencies are working in the water, with air boats and drones searching the Platte River. No word on how many people were on board the plane yet - crews will be here throughout the night.

Dodge County Sheriff’s Office confirms all three people on board the plane have died. Their bodies have been recovered. The FAA and NTSB will take over the investigation.
