We experienced a tough loss last week which brought our season to an end. We wish Bayside the best of luck as they represent our city and region in the playoffs! Job well done to all of players and huge thank you to our supports! Back to gym!

Final in VHSL Region 5A Hoops Championship - Bayside 60, Indian River 47. Seventh-seeded Marlins pull off the unthinkable, capturing their first regional crown since 1989-90 as fans storm the court here at Tallwood. More to come later...

Second nugget this morning... Bayside is the sixth different Beach District program (on the guys side) to win a regional title since 2006. They join Landstown (3x), Green Run (2x), Cox, Salem-VB and Tallwood. No other district in the '757' area code has as many in that span.

Really disappointed in how the Duke Men’s Basketball reacted to the Carolina Basketball coaching staff after the game. Unacceptable. Respect the game and your opponent. This is a simple rule. A lesson coaches need to demonstrate to their players.
