NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy will brief the media today at 8:00 p.m. PT on Friday’s accident involving Alaska Airlines Flight 1282 on a Boeing 737-9 MAX. The briefing will be at the Embassy Suites Portland Airport Hotel (7900 NE 82nd Ave, Portland, OR 97220).

Not a good night at #flypdx tonight. Thankfully no one got badly hurt. AS1282 #PDX to #ONT had a door blow out after takeoff. Made a safe emergency landing. Hats off to the crew.
