It's been a sci-fi kinda day - the theme for the S2 book talks. Great discussion about what makes something a sci-fi book and film and interest in the books!

Great session exploring Chinese/ Lunar New Year with the ASN Dept library group today!

Great fun today with the ASN library group linking to #BritishScienceWeek . We looked at colour changing animals and adaptions using some of the #BritishScienceWeek resources. Then focused on colour to make a rainbow and a Minion lava lamp. A brilliant session!

We had a focus on stationery today with the library ASN Dept group, exploring the history of the things in our pencil cases and trying our hand at writing with calligraphy pen and ink! All in advance of National Stationery Week next week. We #LoveStationery

It's #britishtomatofortnight and the ASN library group have been learning about tomatoes and how they are produced in the UK. We also harnessed tomato power to power a clock! Lots of interesting facts shared and we used world maps to locate countries mentioned during the talk🍅
