So grateful to have been invited to see Langford Primary team host and deliver a great first conference to their new ECT cohort. Thank you so much. Am now looking forward to hosting and delivering our own conference in two weeks with Mr JT.

Really enjoyed coming together to look at how we can use IRIS connect to reflect on our own and each others’ practice. A great mixture of teacher trainees, ECT’s and experienced teachers - shows how important Professional Development opportunities are for all.

Am really enjoying my new role as ECT mentor and VF with Ambition Institute. Such great resources for our ECTs and I’m learning so much from it too.

Today felt like an early Christmas. Our new Staff PE kit arrived (as modelled by our team) and I was gifted a new lanyard from a child in my class so everyone ( including myself) can remember my new name!

Friday team treats as we are still celebrating the ‘no bubbles’. Never underestimate the power of being able to sit down with colleagues, discuss things face to face and ask ‘how are you?’ Obviously, the buns help too! Have a great day everyone.

Have just published to staff our first CPD newsletter of the year Avonwood T&L. Not only creating links with last week’s staff meeting but offering additional further reading/watching to support and reinforce. Am also excited to promote the regular use of IRIS Connect, PD.

As part of an Earth Charter School, we as staff and pupils are only too aware of the importance of promoting the idea of change - not just for ourselves but for future generations too. Some incredible dedication and efforts by the finalists. Hope is so powerful
