The seniors have drafted their teams and the first morning of the UVU challenge is in the books. Team Redmustache leads with 10 points. Team Woody with 8, and Team Mardini with 6. After school the track and field events! LET’S GO!!!!!

After one full day of UVU Challenge. Team Redmustache commanding lead with 23 points. Team Wood in 2nd with 17 points, and Team Mardini bringing up the rear with 15 points. Tomorrow morning CHAOS

A day and a half of competition and, after adding points for being here and being on time, it’s a close race. This afternoon - weight room.

After the weight room challenge and going into the final day of the UVU challenge it’s anyone’s championship. Great efforts in the weight room. Guys going over and beyond for the success or the team.

A great team effort by the Kearns Cougar Baseball program leads to an exciting season opener win vs. Hillcrest High School. Kearns 17 - Hillcrest 7.

Your Kearns Cougars open region play with a solid win over the Lancers of Granger. Kearns 11 - Granger 0 Aivory Kelly had a great outing on the mound. With 87percent 1st pitch strikes and 1 walk in 5 innings.

Behind an amazing pitching performance by Kolby Jones, 12 strike outs, the Cougars take game 2 of the series vs. Granger. Game 3 Friday @ Granger 3:30.

Kearns completes the sweep beating Granger 14 - 2. Next up, West Jordan. Tuesday @ Smith Ball Park. Start time 4:00pm. Fans are allowed but must have a ticket. Tickets are free at the ball park. See you there.

Kearns dropped a couple of tough ones to West Jordan on Tuesday. West Jordan leads the series 2 to 0. Game 3 has been cancelled for today but has been rescheduled for Friday, 3:30, at Hunter High School. Yes I know, it sucks not having our home field!!
