Really frustrated at my flight home being cancelled today and having no good alternatives, but I do wanna give a shout-out to the woman from Delta who stayed on the phone with me for 2 hours to do everything she could to help me. Good customer service goes a long way.

When the hustle gets exhausting, stop. Take a vaca. Take lots of naps. Binge your fav shows. Turn your beautiful brain off. Then, when you’re good and rested, get up and resume the hustle. Don’t burn yourself out. If you do, you could rob the world of something great.

I know I joke a lot about not liking kids and I stand by all of that. But man - I really do respect parents. I can’t imagine working all day and coming home and having a child staring at me waiting for love, care and attention. Cudos, parents. I could never do what you do.

Yep! Every year,my parents celebrate the day we came to live with them. They’d make us a giant skillet cookie and they’d sing “happy anniversary” and the whole family would sit around the table and share memories of when we first met. August 7 of this year will be 22 yrs for me🥹
