Andy Coronado has dubbed his gas tank “The Black Hole.” With gas at almost $7 in San Joaquin County and inflation - Andy says it gets very pricey to go on road trips. However, with this upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, he’s set to hit the road. “Life is too short.”

Art Coleman Jr., a Chavez high school jazz teacher, has had a positive impact on so many students. Many of them wrote to the school district in 2019, to have a building named after Art. In mid-June, the “Arthur Coleman Jr.” administration building will officially open.

I am so grateful for the last 11 years as a broadcast journalist. But now, it’s time for a new chapter. This wasn’t an easy decision, it took me months before I finally made a move to leave, but it was necessary.
