Thank you again to for your donations to the Regent's Canal walk, in support of Wild Justice and London Wildlife Trust. I can't believe it's nearly been a month since completing the walk!

Fabulous to hear from Kabir Kaul on his outstanding work around urban nature recovery in London. Such passion, commitment and enthusiasm for #NatureRecovery
Did you know that although 47% of London is green space, only about 40% is actively managed for #Naturerecovery !…
A great honour to speak about urban nature recovery at the Oxford Martin School yesterday.
I thoroughly enjoyed meeting attendees from Biodiversity Network At The University of Oxford and Leverhulme Centre for Nature Recovery, and discussing many key issues facing wildlife in cities.
Jonny Turnbull 🇺🇦 and I later found a Whinchat at Port Meadow!
Seeing Kabir Kaul talk at the Oxford Martin School today was humbling. Hard to imagine someone so coherent and determined is still only 18. Great work Kabir. See you soon.
It's a great honour and privilege to be giving a talk at University of Oxford this morning.
At the Oxford Martin School, I'll be sharing my personal experiences of nature recovery in London. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, and grateful to Jonny Turnbull 🇺🇦 for the opportunity!
A very happy birthday to the unstoppable Chris Packham, a tireless defender and champion of our natural world. A true legend and inspiration to us all!!
Tune in now to watch Skydancer day, presented by Lauren Cook, Christina Sinclair and my friend GreenFingeredGeorge!
A superb visit to Elmley NNR today, on the wet and windy Isle of Sheppey. Enjoyed meeting the team and learning about how this vast wetland is managed for breeding waterbirds. Highlights were Cattle Egrets, Yellow Wagtails and Marsh Harriers. Thank you @simonginnaw for today!
On Thursday, I’ll be voting for the first time and I’m very much looking forward to it.
Young people - your vote does matter. Vote this Thursday and don’t forget your photo ID!

Spent an absolutely wonderful day with Andrew Millham by the Thames Estuary. It’s a remarkable landscape, rich in history, culture and biodiversity, and Andrew has an extensive knowledge of it. At Two Tree Island we heard a Nightingale - I’m happy to be corrected if it isn’t!
During the Regent’s Canal walk last week, London Wildlife Trust CEO David Mooney and I walked the Canal between Camden and King’s Cross.
Here he shares how donations have helped the Trust achieve so much. Please support them and Wild Justice by donating here: givewheel.com/fundraising/25…
Penultimate visit on my SW tour this week - a welcome return to the Cannwood rewilding site in NE Somerset. Home to the irrepressible Ben Goldsmith. Wonderful beavery wetlands, heaving with warblers and hirundines. What’s more it’s inspiring many others locally to restore nature.
Had a wonderful time catching up with Chris Gannaway and his wife Margaret in Redbridge earlier this week. It was also lovely to meet conservationists Tajinder, Raymond and Tim Harris. I learned tree ID in Claybury Woods, saw bluebells in Wanstead and Skylarks in Hainault!
