Trusting the process is important, but it's even MORE crucial when it comes to ✨collaboration✨. I'm so happy I got to work w/ glass artist Sophie Longwill to help make this fantastical vision of hers a reality. I designed & fabricated the rotating base, & boy does it sparkle!

I'm back to making more broken knee vases! If this is your first time coming across my porcelain knee vase, it's made from a CT scan of my own bones when I broke my tibial plateau! It's slip cast porcelain, and this version is glazed in Glost Teadust. 😍

You ever get so caught up in the details that you forget you have the rest of a project to make? 😂 That's right, I'm making Marceline's Axe Bass from Adventure Time and I let myself get SO SUCKED IN working on the pickups. Too bad I still have the rest of it to do. 😂

I am very much in Sanding Mode right now, assembling and finishing all the prints for Marceline's Axe Bass! This is the staging area for all the stuff that gets hauled back and forth as I work. I'm using Polymaker CosPLA for this build and so far I am LOVING it! 😁

Hark; is that a GPIO breakout board I see with remote trigger capabilities?? I might just have to create an updated guide to fancy camera time lapses if I get my hands on a MK4S! 😉

Time to put Marceline's Axe together properly and show it in full for the first time! The whole thing has been printed in Polymaker CosPLA, which has been a joy to print and sand smooth. Paint is next! Stay tuned for more, and full build video in the works too. 😉

Marceline's Axe Bass reveal! This is by far the biggest, heaviest, and fastest project I've put together, in just under 2 months! The rush has definitely resulted in some mistakes but all things considered, I am QUITE happy. Stay tuned to see what this baby can REALLY do! 😉

Y'all should know by now that I didn't JUST make a cool looking prop, but something more. 😉 I wasn't satisfied w/ making a real guitar because I wanted to be able to play it! So I made myself a bass that even I could play. 😁 It's much cooler w/ a Raspberry Pi in it anyway. 😉
