This morning, the Huron-Perth CDSB Board delivered 4,000 pieces of PPE to the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance for distribution to its hospitals and partnering long term care homes.

Ahh these letters made my day. Soo lucky to be their teacher!

Canada has enormous agricultural and health expertise and resources. The very things the world needs now, and for the future, are Food and Health products. Now is the time to build these sectors, fuel our economy, and serve the worlds needs in doing so.

Although I do know that this is the right decision to keep our schools closed,my heart feels a bit broken to know I can’t say bye to my amazing class this year with lots of hugs and best wishes for the summer. Thinking of everyone else who might be feeling the same way today.

Wow! Taking a break from Twitter. The negativity right now is too much for me. I say it to my kids and my students all the time “If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. Sadly I’m learning that adults need to practice this more than ever right now!!
