Girls Shinty is back on the map at LHS! We had 3 teams representing Lochaber, and a joint team with Kilchumen (23 girls in total), competing in the Donella Crawford today. Our 1st team lost out to Plockton in the semis, but each and every girl did us proud! Shinty

Congratulations to Lochaber High School who were crowned Wade Cup winners 2024. They went undefeated on the day defeating both Kingussie High School and Glenurquart High School in what were very competitive games. A big thank you to Kingussie Camanachd for the great facilities! #shinty

Fantastic couple of days on Skye; 16 volunteers on a coaching course, 21 young people on a referees course, some practical application of theory and some fun sessions in Portree Primary! Also approx 50 deers spotted on the journey home 🦌😂! #shinty

Another enjoyable evening on the west coast. This time supporting South Skye JSC’s Jenny MacKenzie P4/5 competition. Some fabulous shinty played throughout the evening from over 50 young players. Only have 1 bruise from refereeing so I’ll take that as a win 😂! #shinty
