I'm excited to share light-up crafts again at Maker Faire Hudson Valley at the Garner Arts Center! Try an easy coloring version or the chibitronics version for a challenge. I'll also have copies of my books from Make:. An hour north of NYC. See you there! hudsonvalley.makerfaire.com

I made a 90th birthday card for my Mom with a Micro:bit Educational Foundation mini computer and Microsoft MakeCode! She can press buttons to light up the chibitronics LED sticker candles, scroll personalized messages, and play Happy Birthday.

Folks in at a library in Massachusetts made tilt controllers for their cool DrawBots from my book MAKING SIMPLE ROBOTS 2d Ed from Make:! They used Micro:bit Educational Foundation mini-computers as tilt controllers, programmed in Microsoft MakeCode .

Video instructions, templates, and supply list for my Pop-Up Blow-Out Musical Candle Card with Micro:bit Educational Foundation and Microsoft MakeCode are now up on the chibitronics website and YouTube channel. One of my favorite designs to date! chibitronics.com/2024/06/23/blo…
