The Guthrie’s “Dickens Christmas Classic” film is brilliant and beautiful. E.G. Bailey, who adapted and directed the staged reading with Guthrie Theater’s Joseph Haj, said it feels like watching the theater’s annual show from on-stage. True. The actors are amazing.
