HIV stigma in big 2025.
I swear Ruto doesn't care about your thoughts on his status. Your comrades see this.
These fast laugh things aren't funny. Stop!
(We will go round in circles until that oppressor hiding in you dies, or you face it now and kill it. Your choice)
What do you know about women's resistance in Kenya?
Murang'a women stood on business, and on August 1st, there is a show about it.
Get your tickets and see this work on stage.
Chris Smalls, the only black person abode the Handala (the second flotilla to attempt breaking the Isnotreal starvation blockade and siege in Gaza), was assaulted and choked by IOF.
We all know why.
People are demanding accountability, and I ask, from?
Genocidaires?
I suffer from severe malnutrition due to lack of food and water. I am not ashamed to say that I am hungry and want food, but I am ashamed when I ask for help. And no one responds.

We have a show!!!
"Caged Bird"
10th - 16th Aug
It is an installation we are doing at Munyu Space, The Mall basement in Westlands.
The installation is about collective grief, communal care, and healing.
It is a progressive creation culminating on closing night.
Pull up!!!
Day 2 - DENIAL (sound_music)
"Oh, what a thing of beauty it is to go insane without losing your mind"
Orange...
(This is how we do today. Bring your gave music and sounds. If your pain had a song, which one would it be? Let's write songs to this place we call home)
People came again.
And I am so grateful that our (he)art is being received so sincerely. Being asked questions, challenged, and talked to.
People shared songs. We wrote on the grief we live with and sang.
It was beautiful.
Again, I'm so grateful.
On to day 3 - yellow
All systems and structures meant to protect and support blind/visually impaired people (which never fully worked to begin with) are crumbling and Nigerians make a jokey affair of it. Many could soon face the same failing system. Disabled Nigerians deserve better!
Day 4 - BARGAINING (fashion)
"Your clothes flying in the air, a white mask on your face;
Begging the wind to hold you."
Green...
(What're you mourning? What have you given up to be here? Who're you mourning?)
Brings stones for memorial and flowers for beauty. And you for love
We had the most number of walk-ins today.
It was wholesome to listen to people talk about what fashion means to them. Talk about becoming and mending in grief.
Also, I met people from here, and I'm grateful.
Y'all show up, and thank you.
Day 5 - DEPRESSION (poetry)
"Under the moonlight, all black bodies are blue;
And this is a misplaced body."
(Poetry is the ways we dance, the ways we worship and find ourselves. It's the truth of our hearts. Today's performances are poetry. What is unspoken?)
Bring stones.
(I agreed to share my work . So, here is the Caged Bird installation. Njoroge. took these photos that have brought me so much joy the whole evening.
Of all the languages I speak, dance will always be my most fluent)
When I dance I become air. Nothing and everything.
