I just cracked 9k on my MG verse novel. It's been slower going ... Partly because I've had to do a lot more thinking & writing. And partly because I've had something bizarre (& a little unsightly) happening with my eye - but it's healing. (PTL) The story is definitely on track.

Rural parcel delivery is a whole other thing. 1st Aug my publisher sent me a box of books. The book that released a month ago. They've been scanned onto the country run. But not delivered. 2 months later, no-one knows where they are. Of course this isn't a standalone incident.

I was in Kmart Gladstone (Qld) today &was horrified that every dressing room was cluttered with clothes – inside out, just left where they dropped. Apparently folks treat BigW the same. Appallingly thoughtless & selfish. I haven't seen this in Bundy. What about where you are?
