Finally had the chance to organize and arrange all of my daughter’s books in the nursery yesterday. I have wanted a bookcase like this forever, and I love it even more than I imagined I would.

Made the mistake of watching The Home Edit while 9 months pregnant, so if anyone needs me, I will now be spending the day organizing every snack I own by color and placing them in fancy plastic bins.

I'm pregnant, and because of my medical history, my doctor referred me for an anesthesiology consult. It was a 5 minute phone call wherein they said they didn't have any insights and we'd "see what happens." They charged me $500 for it, and I have insurance. The system is broken.

Went in for a c-section last Thursday, and, in an effort to distract me, one of the nurses decided to put some music on. Based on my age, she picked 90s pop, and that is the story of how my daughter entered the world to the sounds of "The Macarena."

In the last 24 hours, I've written just over 2,000 words. Admittedly, that doesn't sound like much, but it's the first writing I've done since my daughter was born last month, and goodness, does that feel fantastic.
