🏆Botts’s Battle🥊 After opening with the lead in round 1 and falling four shots short in round 2, Ryan Botts stormed back with five birdies in the final round to capture his first Tennessee PGA Professional Championship!

8am single tee off the front - hole location 3 and carts 90° except for hole 7 which will remain CPO today. Today is Labor Day so the Maintenance Team will labor this morning to set up the golf course for play and then go home as soon as possible. Thankful for 1/2 day holidays.

9am LGA9 shotgun & 12PM Lady Linksters shotgun. Hole 4/carts 90° except hole 7(CPO). It’s September and we lose more sunlight in this month than any other month. This affects our Bermudagrass surfaces which is over 1/2 our property at 120 acres. Goal = green grass in spring ‘26.

The golf course and the Team that cares for it is officially ready for Fall! 9am single tee, hole 2, and CPO (+1” which gives us > 3” rain last 2 days). Aerification and Fall fertility for added winter protection are complete. Another thunderstorm to wash it all in last night.

8am single tee off the front - hole location 3 and carts 90° except for holes 4 & 7 which will remain CPO for today. Rain in the forecast throughout the day so will monitor. Cart rules subject to change quickly as the golf course is still saturated from this week’s rain total.

8am single tee off the front with hole location 4 and Cart Path Only. We are approaching almost 4” rain in the last 5 days. 10-Day forecast has 50’s and 70’s with lots of sunshine. Fall-like weather is early this year.

9am LGA18 shotgun - hole 2/carts 90° except holes 4/7 (CPO). Regular play off the Back after the tournament. Driving Range will be closed a little longer today as it is time to throw down Ryegrass. Grow in will take a few weeks which will allow practice on turf all winter long.
